ESDA Coaches

ESDA Coach Services Ltd has a fleet of three fully accessible coaches (two with 32 seats and one with 24) and a team of fully qualified high level CRB checked drivers.

Our competitively priced service is available to non-profit making community and voluntary groups in East Sussex. We aim to provide a friendly, efficient coach service; to enable outings for groups of people who are not able to travel on conventional transport.ESDA Coach Services Ltd is managed by Philip Ayers, with Wendy Hiscox handling bookings and general administration. While ESDA member groups enjoy specially discounted rates for their outings, we welcome other qualifying groups* and are confident our charge out rates are very competitive. For example; a 4 hour outing for a round trip journey of 50 miles would cost in the region of £130.00.

All prices quoted are approximate and the final invoice amount would depend on actual mileage and the duration of the trip. We are happy to help plan outings and provide estimates of the likely cost.

Please note that bookings can only be made subject to coach and driver availability. Demand can sometimes exceed supply and, therefore, early booking is advisable.

* To qualify as an eligible group you must comply with Section 19 of the Transport Act 1985, which generally means that the travelling party contains people with access requirements; those who cannot travel on conventional public transport and where the group is a ‘not for profit' organisation.
