Eastbourne Local Group

The Eastbourne District Committee is back and in full swing. We have a full program of monthly trips on the last Tuesday of each month and there is the possibility of further events to come at ESDA HQ.

Below are photos of our lunch at the Langham Hotel and then the presentation of the cheque from the police fund for £400.

In January, we celebrated the 103rd birthday of one of our members and had the Mayor of Eastbourne, Carolynn Heaps, come along to celebrate with us. It was a special and very enjoyable occasion for one and all. Have a look at some of the pictures from the day.

Events to come include a trip on The Bluebell Railway, A mystery trip in July and Xmas shopping at Arndale Centre in November.  A raffle is held on the trips to help raise funds for the group.

We are looking for new members and also volunteers to help out on the committee and trips accordingly. If you are interested in helping out in any way or just coming along on the trips, give us a call at ESDA and we can get the membership information sent out to you.  Come along and see what we do and how enjoyable and rewarding spending time with the Eastbourne group can be.
