Holiday Service
ESDA has considerable experience in arranging and advising disabled people about holiday opportunities.
These fall into two main categories: group holidays and self-catering holidays.
Group Holidays
Group Holidays are arranged at venues at:
- Waterside House, Netley, near Southampton
- Merton House, Ross-on-Wye
- Foxes Hotel, Minehead
- Skylarks, Nottingham
- Maison Des Landes, Jersey
- Park Hall Hotel,Conwy, North Wales
Free of charge, door-to-door transport is provided by our accessible Coaches.
Self-Catering Holidays
Self Catering Holidays can also be arranged with John Grooms Holidays in locations throughout England and Wales.
Advice is also given on specialist holidays, such as:
- Holidays for severely disabled people (care is provided at the venue)
- Hotels
- Adventure holidays (including canal holidays)
- Holidays abroad (including skiing holidays)
If you want to arrange your own holiday, ESDA prints a Travel Information Pack-cost £2.50. It is a comprehensive guide to holiday travel arrangements - for disabled people.
