Inclusion Enterprise

  • The social enterprise (Inclusion Enterprise) has been in existence informally for over three years, building on the DDA and Disability Equality Training that has been provided for twice as long.
  • In addition to the training, it has developed consultancy services that relate to legal and societal developments externally such as the Disability Equality Duty and which are in line with ESDA's stated aims and objectives.
  • These services delivered by disabled professionals to any organisation include: research and development, mystery shopping and website usability testing.
  • Inclusion Enterprise is a means of organising and selling the skills, expertise and personal experience of disability and, with time given to marketing and networking, is capable of raising ESDA's profile and generating income and profit.
  • New services that are being developed include training for disabled people in participation and representation and in the interpersonal skills that relate to this and which can benefit disabled people in other areas of their lives.
