 An Invitation: Revivial of the Uckfield District Committee -

East Sussex Disability Association

Dear Friend,

My name is Marianne Colliard and I am the Volunteer Services Coordinator for East Sussex Disability Association (ESDA). You are receiving this invitation as you are recorded on our database as resident in Uckfield and its district parishes. Formerly ESDA had an active group in Uckfield whose focus was on improving and providing support for disabled people within your community.  ESDA has 21 District Committee's and Local Groups across East Sussex whose services may include:

• A link to ESDA's core services.
• A sign post service and information source for assessing other useful services 
• Home visits, advocacy, support and form filling assistance for individual disabled people.
• Trips and outings on accessible transport.
• Peer support and various social activities.
• Participate in and involve members with campaigning to improve choice and opportunities for disabled people in all aspects of living in their area and across East Sussex. ESDA groups work with other voluntary organisations and statutory bodies such as Social Services, Health, County and Local Councils. 

I would like to invite you to a meeting to re-establish the Uckfield group and discuss the needs and priorities locally.

I have booked the Large Room at the Bellbrook Centre, Bell Lane, Uckfield on Friday 6^th May. The meeting will run from 1.15pm through until 4pm. Transport and lunch will be provided.

I would be grateful if you could complete the reply slip below and return to me in the addressed envelope provided as soon as possible.
